Ruam Jai Phak Rak Pa Thaweepor – Phang Nga

On December 24, 2016, the Andaman Natural Resources Conservation Foundation (ANRCF) organized a mangrove planting event under the project Ruam Jai Phak Rak Pa Thaweepor in Phang Nga Province. The initiative was held to honor the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and to continue his legacy of environmental conservation.

Event Highlights:

  • More than 900 mangrove saplings were planted along the banks of Khlong Mudong.
  • Participants included representatives from government agencies, schools, the private sector, and community groups.
  • The event was presided over by senior officials from the Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 and environmental agencies.
  • Activities emphasized the philosophy of “planting the forest in people’s hearts” to instill long-term environmental awareness.
